I’m Cheryl, the founder of Grrowlingly Purrfect.
I established the business in October 2003, and it remains one of my proudest achievements to this day. What began as a solo venture has grown organically into a carefully built and trusted service. For the first eight years, I worked independently, before expanding as demand increased and introducing our daycare offering.
Today, Grrowlingly Purrfect is a close-knit team of five, each chosen not only for their experience, but for their natural connection with dogs and their shared values around calm, attentive, and genuinely loving care.
Alongside myself is my business partner, Sasha, whose kindness and dedication set the standard for everything we do. Auntie Olivia brings a calm, nurturing presence and a genuine love for being surrounded by dogs. Auntie Susie, a long-standing and trusted part of my personal life, shares that same deep passion for dogs and brings warmth and reliability to the team. And Uncle David—well known to many of our clients—has a natural way with dogs, quickly earning their trust and affection.
Every member of the team has been chosen with great care, because I believe the people looking after your dogs should reflect the same level of trust, consistency, and genuine affection that I would expect for my own.
We pride ourselves on offering a personal, high-quality service where every dog is treated with the same level of care, attention, and affection as if they were our own. It is a privilege to spend each day surrounded by so many wonderful dogs, and we feel incredibly grateful to be trusted with your beloved companions.
A little bit about me...
Hi, I’m Sasha! I’ve been part of the Grrowlingly Purrfect family for over 8 years now. I originally started as a dog walker, but I quickly fell in love with the business — and, of course, all the wonderful dogs that came along with it!
I loved it so much that I decided to take the next step and became partners with Cheryl. It’s been such a rewarding journey, and I feel incredibly lucky to do something I genuinely love every day.
For me, the dogs aren’t just customers — they become part of our extended family. I love getting to know each one’s personality, watching them grow in confidence and making sure they have the best time while they’re with us.
I’m so proud of everything we’ve built at Grrowlingly Purrfect and, most importantly, of the trust our customers place in us to care for their beloved dogs.

Olivia
Hi! I’ve been part of the Grrowlingly Purrfect team for 12 years, and I can’t imagine doing anything else!
I work with both our daycare and home boarding dogs, and one of my favourite things is watching them run around the field with their friends. I love seeing how excited they are when I collect them or welcome them in for the day. Their happy faces never fail to make me smile!
Over the years, I’ve shared my life with three wonderful dogs: Lola, my Rottweiler; Tytus, my Dogue de Bordeaux; and Coco, my chocolate Labrador. They’ve all crossed the rainbow bridge, but they’ll always have a special place in my heart. I’d love to welcome another Dogue de Bordeaux into my family one day.

Hi, I’m David! I have worked at Grrowlingly Purrfect for 7 years . I absolutely love working with the dogs and getting out and about on their walks. I’ve always been a dog lover, so spending my days walking them, getting to know all their different personalities and seeing how excited they are for their adventures is something I really enjoy.
I love being outdoors and making sure every dog has a fun, safe and enjoyable walk. Whether they love a good run around, exploring and sniffing everything in sight, or prefer a more relaxed stroll, I’m happy as long as they’re happy!
It’s lovely building a bond with each of the dogs and I feel very lucky to have a job I genuinely enjoy!

Hi, I’m Susie! I’ve always had a huge love for dogs, so when the opportunity came along to leave a job I wasn’t enjoying and join the Grrowlingly Purrfect team, I jumped at the chance and I’ve never looked back!
I’ve now been part of the team for almost seven years, and I absolutely love being surrounded by dogs every day and getting to know all of their different personalities.
At home, I have four dogs of my own: three French Bulldogs - Bronson, Summer and Honey Bee - and our XL Bully, Violet. They certainly keep me busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

The GP have been fab from the beginning. They have been with us through our first dog sadly passing and we continued to choose them when we were ready to get a new dog. Both dogs have loved the team and been treated like one of the team's own. GP have been great for daycare and trusted for overnight stays. It means we can have our holiday and relax knowing that our dog is safe and happy himself. Also like the option of the pick up and drop off service to use when needed! It's a massive help.
